The latest update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has arrived, and it looks as if 5 extra characters will sign up for the racer roster in long term DLC waves.
Wave 4 of the Booster Route Cross added eight new tracks to the game alongside Birdo as a playable racer. Then again, a number of Twitter customers have identified that 5 empty slots at the moment are at the personality variety display, indicating that extra drivers will arrive in long term DLC drops.

There are two further waves of DLC to return in 2023, with every one bringing 8 new lessons and most likely extra characters from around the Mario Kart sequence. When all six waves were launched, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe may have over half of the Mario Kart tracks ever released.
